Journalist training

The project held a journalist training in Addis Ababa with the aim of awareness raising among journalists on the organs, protocols and mechanisms of the Africa Union, especially the African Charter on Democracy Elections and Governance (ACDEG). A total of 15 journalists across Africa from radio, TV and newspapers attended. The training was arranged in combination with a launch of the Continental Citizen Report. The citizens report is a civil society’s assessment of member states of the AU’s implementation of the ACDEG viewed from their perspective.
